What to Expect: The Tax Preparation Process

Choose Your Status
Select New Client to get started or Returning Client to update your information and upload documents.
Tax Preparation
I will review your information and prepare your tax return, then notify you of your refund status or any balance due.
Sign the Authorization Forms
You’ll receive Federal and State forms (if applicable) via DocuSign for your electronic signature, authorizing me to e-file your taxes.
Invoice
You’ll receive an invoice from Tax Prep By Cynthia for the preparation services.
Finalizing Your Return
Once I receive the signed e-file forms and tax preparation fees, I’ll submit your tax return to the IRS.
Confirmation & Delivery
Upon IRS acceptance of your return, I’ll email you a copy of your tax returns. For security, these documents will be password-protected, and I’ll send you the password via text message.
